We have a vacancy for a Full-Time Cover Inclusion Assistant in Secondary School. The role involves covering for teachers across the Secondary school and being responsible for the presentation, explanation and supervision of work set by the teacher in their absence. When not covering the CIA should support in lessons, contribute to the effective delivery of teaching and learning to allow pupils with specific or general learning difficulties to make progress, whatever their starting point under the direction of the Class Teacher and Inclusion Teacher, enabling them to make progress, as well as working as part of the Inclusion Team.

The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker and need to be comfortable with supporting English, Science and Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Candidates should have GCSEs, Secondary School Leavers certificate or equivalent and further training and qualification in a specialist area (eg: Cache Level 3, TEFL / ESL, Diploma in SEND etc) and a minimum of 2 years experience working with SEN students. Candidates should be under spouse’s sponsorship.
