The British School Al Khubairat is looking to appoint a School Counsellor (with the possibility of Lead School Counsellor for the right candidate), to commence on 1st September, 2025.

BSAK is the British Embassy school in the UAE and is not for profit and is non selective. It is over 50 years old and has an enviable reputation throughout the country and beyond, rated Outstanding across all performance standards in both our local Government Agency inspection (ADEK) and that of British Schools Overseas (BSO); and in 2023 we were awarded 5 awards in the Schools Compared.com, Top School Awards; Overall Best School in the UAE, Best British Curriculum, Best School for Sport, Best Fine Art and Best Principal. This is a key role within the School, offering students individual counselling and support and working within a diverse range of issues. The successful candidate will also provide consultation to staff whose role it is to support students in need. The successful candidate will hold either a Master’s Degree in School Counselling/related subject with 2 years relevant experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in School Counselling/related subject with 5 years relevant experience.
